Indications:

For treatment of Gastrointestinal infections, respiratory infections and urinary tract infections caused by enrofloxacin sensitive microorganism like Campylobacter, E.coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma etc.

Dosage and Administration :

Poultry : 500 ml / 1500 - 2000 of drinking water for 3 - 5days

For Oral Administration :

Twice daily : 5 ml / 75 - 150 kg body weight

Tiamulin is a bacteriostatic agent, belonging to the group of pleuromutilins. Treatment and control of Mycoplasma infections (enzootic pneumonia, chronic respiratory disease) and porcine respiratory disease complex. It has a synergistic activity with tetracyclines against other primary (A.pleuropneumoniae, B. bronchiseptica) and secondary (P.multocida) respiratory pathogens. is particularly indicated for the control, prevention and treatment of swine dysentery (B.hyodysenteriae), porcine colonic spirochaetosis (B. pilosicoli)and porcine proliferative enteropathy (L. intracellularis).

Poultry: Prevention of chronic respiratory disease (CRD) and air sacculitis: 12.5 mg tiamulin hydrogen fumarate / kg bodyweight. Treatment of chronic respiratory disease (CRD) and air sacculitis: 25 mg tiamulin hydrogen fumarate / kg bodyweight

Treatment of swine dysentery: 8.8 mg tiamulin hydrogen fumarate / kg bodyweight for 3-5 consecutive days. Treatment of PRDC (porcine respiratory diseases complex): 15 – 20 mg tiamulin hydrogen fumarate / kg bodyweight for 5 – 10 consecutive days. Treatment of pleuropneumonia: 20 mg tiamulin hydrogen fumarate / kg bodyweight for 5 consecutive days

Indications:

Gastrointestinal infections, respiratory infections and urinary tract infections caused by enrofloxacin sensitive micro-organisms, like Campylobacter, E. coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella and Salmonella spp. in Calves, Goats, Poultry, Sheep and Swine

Enrofloxacin belongs to the group of quinolones and acts bactericidal against mainly Gram-negative bacteria like Campylobacter, E. coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella and Salmonella spp.

Mechanism of action:

Enrofloxacin is a bactericidal agent. The bactericidal activity of enrofloxacin is concentration dependent, with susceptible bacteria cell death occurring within 20-30 minutes of exposure. Enrofloxacin has demonstrated a significant post-antibiotic effect for both gram -Ve and gram

+Ve bacteria and is active in both stationary and growth phases of bacterial replication.

Dosage & Administration:

For Prevention:

0.0150ml to 0.050ml Enrosept per Kg body weight in drinking water (2ml Enrosept per 4-8 litres of drinking water)

For Treatment:

0.050ml to 0.075ml Enrosept per Kg body weight in drinking water(2ml Enrosept per 2-4 litres of drinking water) or As directed by registered Veterinary Practitioner.
